Athabasca University is pleased to announce that on December 3, 2025, the Board of Governors ratified a new collective agreement with the Athabasca University Graduate Students’ Association (AUGSA). AUGSA members previously voted to ratify this agreement on November 25, 2025.
This agreement is in effect from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2028 and provides a 3% increase to minimum salaries in each year of the agreement.
AU looks forward to working with AUGSA to continue to grow opportunities for graduate students to participate in and support the world-class research carried out at AU.
AU thanks the bargaining teams for their dedication and commitment to a fair, collegial, productive, and respectful dialogue throughout the bargaining process.
