Bargaining continues between AU and Local 69 of the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE), the union representing support staff at the university, with five meetings having taken place between September 2024 and January 2025.
These meetings have been productive and we are eager to continue discussions with the AUPE team. The next sessions are set to take place in March and April. We look forward to continued progress as we work toward a negotiated agreement that supports employees, students, and university operations.
